1. What are BJD resin designer dolls?
Our ball-jointed (BJD) resin dolls are handcrafted, customizable art collectibles designed for hobbyists and collectors, part of Japan’s established BJD culture. They are purely Art oriented - therefor please do not hand them to small children, as there are small, delicate parts. they are for exhibiting high fashion designs of an artistic sensibility, and not for any other use.
2. How can I customize my doll?
You can order dolls blank or with custom painting, wigs, shoes, and clothing. Options include various face sculpts, hand/feet styles, and body skin shades. Each choice is listed on product pages with pricing details.
3. How is pricing determined?
Pricing varies based on customization (e.g., blank vs. painted, wig type, clothing). Base prices start at the blank doll level, around $1000~, with add-ons detailed on product pages. All prices include Japan’s 10% consumption tax.
4. Are your dolls original designs?
Yes, all dolls are entirly the original designs of Eli Effenberger, please be sure to purchase from the Doll Menagerie Shop directly, as there are no other licensed distributors, these dolls are solely produced by Menagerie, ensuring full control for the highest quality end product.
5. How do I place an order?
Choose direct purchase (ships within 7~14 business days) or pre-order (custom production, timelines on product pages). Select customization options during checkout.
6. What is your return policy?
Direct purchases can be returned within 14 days (unused, original packaging), excluding shipping costs. Pre-orders cannot be canceled, except in emergencies (25% fee). See our Return Policy page for details.
